Bladder Cancer Awareness(Chitokoto CCAP Bwengu CommunitY)

As we continue to engage communities on Bladder Cancer Awareness Month, at One Community we understand how important it is to impart relevant and accurate knowledge to our community volunteer structures.

On 27th May we engaged Luzi Volunteer Coordinators and Chitokoto Radio Listening Club to enhance their knowledge and Capacitate them on a number of developmental issues among them Bladder Cancer, Environmental and Climate Change, Electoral preparedness, Child protection, Ostrii, Green Insurence Technology, One Community Gender Lens which focus on men, among other cross-cutting issues.

One Communitu believes in empowering its community volunteer structures for sustainability of its programs to ensure ownership and stewardship is left with community based structures for continuity. We believe in community knowledge and experiences they have in providing proven solutions to the existing challenge, we enable real progress by giving them the mandates to take the leading role in development activities and our role is to build their capacity where necessary, to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy in their work.
