Green Insure Technologies
Green-Insure-Tech is an online and offline mobile application developed by One Community used by partners for community-based volunteers to effectively deliver training, and monitor impact in rural communities.
The technology is designed to respond and address some key issues such as Insurance Gaps among smallholder farmers, Supply Chain gaps between agro-dealers and small-holder farmers in rural areas, to facilitates the e-payments transaction, using TNM Mpamba, Unayo, Mo626, Airtel Money among others.
•The application is also designed to enhance linkages between finance institutions, insurance companies, telecommunication companies, and other financial lending agencies with small-holder farmers especially those in rural areas with little or no access to such financial knowledge. One Community is providing digital curriculums using 2D and 3D animation in local languages for partners, and communities to enhance awareness and insurance seeking behavior among rural small holder farmers
